Story.

For over 20 years, husband and wife team Craig and Ramona Day have provided a contemporary dining experience in charming Rockport, Texas. Specializing in fresh, local seafood, Latitude 28°02' has come to be known as a culinary gem and favorite watering hole among the locals.

Even from a young age, Craig showed great interest in the culinary arts while growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas. He began his career in food service as a line cook, but quickly moved up the ranks to sous chef before becoming head chef. It's during these formative years when Craig discovered his affinity for fresh, regional seafood and developed his own unique culinary style around those ingredients.

Craig's wife, Ramona, grew up in Portland, Texas where her family owned and operated a catering business. It's there that a grade-school age Ramona washed dishes and helped her mother bake cakes. Waitressing helped put Ramona through college and gave her the food service experience she needed to make Latitude 28°02' one of the most successful restaurants in Rockport, Texas.
